What is Chocolate Dunk?

Chocolate Dunk is a free one-tap arcade game for iPhone and iPad. You play a bar of chocolate gliding over a river of molten cocoa: tap to hop through the hoops, aim for the glowing centre, and don’t melt in the river. It is Michelangelo’s game, brought to iPhone and iPad by Super Simple Apps.

How do you play?

Tap anywhere to hop. Every tap lifts the bar; stop tapping and it sinks into the river, which ends the run. Thread the glowing centre of a hoop for a clean dunk, chain clean dunks for streak bonuses, and collect coins along the way. A short tutorial on the first run shows the basics.

Is Chocolate Dunk free?

Yes. It is free to download and play. There is one optional in-app purchase, Remove Ads, at $0.99 / £0.99 (Apple sets the price in other regions). It removes the ads for good and supports Family Sharing. Coins are earned by playing and cannot be bought.

Does it have ads?

Yes: occasional full-screen ads between runs, served by Google AdMob. They never interrupt a live run, and the first few runs have none. The Remove Ads purchase turns them off permanently.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. It runs at up to 120 Hz on ProMotion displays, and it plays offline.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Playing needs no connection. Ads, the Remove Ads purchase and Game Center do.

What are the bars?

The bar is the chocolate you play as. There are 16 to collect, from Milk and Dark to Gold Foil, Obsidian and the Owner Bar. Most are bought with coins you earn in runs. Marble, Frost, Neon and Ember are earned instead: pass 20 hoops in one run, or reach Mistwood, Neon Sprawl or Chili Heaven. Bars change the look, not the gameplay.

What data does it collect?

There is no account and no login, and the game runs on your device. Ads come from Google AdMob, which uses your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking. Apple handles the Remove Ads purchase and, if you sign in, Game Center. The privacy policy has the details.
